Ruaridh Stewart
Ruaridh Stewart brings over a decade of international photojournalism and editing experience to ZUMA Press. As the News Director, Stewart oversees the work of a team of Photo Editors and is the chief point of contact for all incoming and outgoing images from ZUMA photographers and partners around the world.
Stewart is a Photography and Media Studies graduate of Stephenson College in Edinburgh, Scotland. He is a member of the Hong Kong Press Photographers' Association and the National Press Photographers Association, and remains an active news, feature and assignment photographer.
Prior to joining ZUMA, Stewart spent nine years living and working in Asia-Pacific. Based in Hong Kong, Stewart held a number key positions with national newspapers, most recently with Hong Kong's largest and most outspoken Chinese newspaper, Apple Daily News, where he was an international assignment photographer. Ruaridh has won a number of awards for his work including a POY in 1999.
