Theresa Vernetti
Grobl often teams up with Theresa Vernetti, a San Diego-based writer and photographer in whose literary skills help put words to his powerful photo essays.
Vernetti captures the essence of daily life and the spirit of the people and places she visits. She incorporates texture, movement and a sympathetic tone in her writing and photography to create a rich, cultural amalgam as the foundation for her work.
Vernetti finds inspiration by exploring the world through backpacking excursions and adventure travel.
She studied Spanish literature and religion at the University of California, Santa Barbara and the University of Granada, Spain. Vernetti then attended the University of Southern California to earn a degree in dental hygiene, her current profession.
