Death Row USA


Photojournalist Lou Jones spent six years researching and documenting the odyssey of men and women on America's death rows. He was the first photojournalist to gain access to so many death-row inmates, unshackled without glass or wire-mesh barriers. In 1997, he published an insightful and touching book, Final Exposure: Portraits from Death Row, which is currently in its second edition. The images from that book are presented here.
