Steve Sandford


After eight years working the newspaper and magazine circuit in western Canada, Steve Sandford moved to Indonesia in 1998 to document the fall of aging dictator Suharto, contributing to TIME, Stern, AFP, Granta and Asiaweek.

Since then, Sandford has relocated to Bangkok to cover a broad range of human conflict and off-the-beaten path features across South-East Asia. Some of his recent Thailand's drug epidemic, human trafficking in Cambodia, the sex trade in Laos and Nepal's civil strife.

Sandford is represented worldwide by ZUMA Press.
