Born and raised in California, Micah studied and earned his B.A. in
photography and graphic arts from Point Loma Nazarene University, Keller
Visual Arts Center. His work is internationally recognized and award
winning, including his coverage of Southern Sudan.
He has extensively covered Central and East Africa, notably DR Congo and
Sudan. He has documented and published his writing and photography ranging
in topics from; Sudanese IDP and refugee camps, HIV/AIDS awareness in Kenya, active war zones in Sudan, village life in post-war Eastern Congo, slum
life
in Bukavu Congo, and life in insurgent controlled North Kivu DR Congo to
name a few.
