Eros Hoagland
Eros Hoagland began his career as a photojournalist in
1994. Specializing in reportage photography in
countries in conflict, Hoagland's work has taken him
to Colombia, El Salvador, Eritrea, Haiti and the
Middle East.
Hoagland's emphasis on creating images that are
strikingly different from the typical news photo has
worked in his favor, landing him assignments with
Newsweek, Frontline TV, the Los Angeles
Times, New York Times, San Francisco
Chronicle, Fader Magazine, the
Washington Post, the Associated Press and
Amnesty International.
Hoagland is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where
he is a frequent contributor to the award-winning
San Jose Mercury News. He joined ZUMA Press in
2004.
