David Honl
Photojournalist David Honl brings 20 years of experience with him to ZUMA Press. His images have appeared in such publications as Newsweek, People Magazine, New York Times, Professional Photographer, and countless more. A self described, "photographer at heart, " Honl is tireless in his photographic efforts, with a body of work that spans the globe. Recently he returned from Iraq, where he was on assignment for Newsweek, where he documented the everyday life and specifically the everyday workout of the American soldier under extreme conditions. "Obviously it inspired me to get in a little better shape, but it also made me grateful for the luxury I have of being able to go in and out of the country at will, unlike the soldiers that are there on 6 and 12 month tours."
