The central district of Athens, Omonia, is the hotspot for tourists and will be the hub for athletes and fans alike during the Olympic Games. Home to the hip restaurants, bars and clubs, Omonia also has the most zealous, police precinct in Athens. Officers of the "Fourth" precinct patrol the streets with renewed vigor using whatever force necessary to give its turf the best face for the Games. All illegal vendors, drug addicts, homeless people and other "undesirables" are arrested or escorted out of view from Olympic visitors.
