Bedouins Perfect Petra

The five tribes of Bedouin in Petra are named the 'Bedul' meaning 'change' and is quite appropriate under current developments. The Bedouin's traditional way of life is eroding after they moved from ancient cave dwellings to living in modern homes, set on the edge of what is now designated as Petra National Park. The centuries-old pink ruins of Petra were named as one of the modern day Seven Wonders of the World chosen in a poll of 100 million online voters.

Ronay's award winning exhibit, "The Bedouin Tribes of Petra," opened at the American Natural History Museum and has traveled extensivley.
